I am currently a freshman at John P. Stevens High School. I am enrolled in Computer Programming in Java, Algebra 2 Honors, Biology Honors, and English Honors. 

I plan to attend university in Fall 2026 and major in engineering/sciences.

Research/Work Experience:
A.I. Research (University of California, San Francisco, AI4ALL Program) - July 2022
Using supervised machine learning techniques such as decision tree, logistic regression, random forest, and K-Nearest Neighbors, I collaboratively worked on predicting schizophrenia with Python in order to more effectively identify biomarkers for potential diagnosis and treatment. Taking the data of 54 patients (27 control and 27 schizophrenic) and being provided with 83x83 ROI connectomes, I helped with data preprocessing and constructing ML models for classification.

Illinois Aerospace Institute Camp (University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign)-July 2022
Selected to learn about the field of aerospace engineering. Designed and built hands-on projects such as model gliders and egg-drop landers. Explored aeronautics & astronautics topics with guest speakers.

Outside Interests:
Poetry Performance Club - Middle School and High School, 4 years. Organize and perform original poetry to bring awareness to causes including climate change and academic pressures.
Girls Who Code - Middle School and High School, 3 years, Develop personal projects for mental health and wellness, work to reduce the gender gap in STEM fields.
American Computer Science League - High School, 1 year, Take contests on computer science concepts, like Number Systems and Digital Electronics with a programming problem in Python.
Taekwondo - 7 years, 1st Dan Black Belt - Attend classes 3 times a week to learn self-defense, forms, high level kicks, and intense workouts to improve leadership skills. 

I enjoy playing the violin, painting, baking, and solving puzzles.
